Agreement to these terms

By using ECHO, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for how ECHO handles your data.

What ECHO is

ECHO is a prototype that turns songs, memories, dreams, and mood answers you provide into an AI-generated musical journey. It's an early-stage, experimental product offered as-is — features, availability, and generated content may change or break without notice.

Using ECHO

• You must be old enough to legally consent to these terms in your country, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
• You're responsible for what you submit — memories, dreams, mood answers, and any other content you enter into a journey. Don't submit anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse ECHO's systems, or use automated means to access the service beyond normal use.
• An account created by registering (email/password or Google sign-in) is yours alone — keep your credentials safe and don't share access with others.

AI-generated content

Journeys, track suggestions, and narrative text are generated by an AI model based on what you provide. Generated content can be inaccurate, unexpected, or occasionally inappropriate — ECHO doesn't guarantee its accuracy, quality, or suitability for any purpose, and it doesn't represent ECHO's or the AI provider's views.

Third-party services

Some features connect to services ECHO doesn't control, each governed by its own terms: exporting a journey as a playlist uses Spotify's API, sign-in can use Google OAuth, and purchases or contributions are processed by Stripe. ECHO isn't responsible for how those third parties operate.

Intellectual property

ECHO's design, code, and branding belong to ECHO. Songs referenced in a journey remain the property of their respective rights holders — ECHO doesn't host or distribute copyrighted audio itself, only references and links to it (e.g. via connected services like Spotify).

No warranty

ECHO is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ECHO and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated content.

Termination

You can stop using ECHO at any time by logging out or discontinuing use. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for conduct that violates these terms or disrupts other users.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as ECHO evolves. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
